Seller Tips on a Faster Real Estate Closing
June 9th, 2008 11:20 PM

Take extra care of your house to sell it faster because with increasing interest rates it is a buyers market now.

These steps will make sure that you get more buyers interested in your property than others in the area.

Start viewing your property as a house  not your home that needs to be marketed.

Get your house inspected by a professional surveyor to  make sure of the boundary lines to avoid surprises. It will show confidence and care to the buyer.

Prepare your house to make it more sellable.Ask real estate agents, friends, home stagers for this advice.View some neighborhood homes for ideas.

Make your house stand out with new paint or wallpaper, neatness, clean carpets, tidy yards.Go with neutral and basic decor instead of personal taste.

Finish your projects around the property.Buyers prefer their home to be maintance free, so tidy up the area as much as possible.

Consider depersonalizing your house.Get rid of family pictures, trophies and memorabilia lying around. Buyers can visualize themselves living there better.

If you do the above steps it will be easier to get more potential buyer's. Good Luck !
