Keeping in Touch
May 30th, 2009 4:19 PM

Keeping in touch with  real estate client's is  nessarsary in today’s real estate market and  being informed as to the market conditions is important to stay visible to the agent in today’s  market.

E-mails , fliers ,  signs , websites and prospect calling gets more eyes on  their marketing and advertising  technology.

Sellers need to understand the data that’s out there-from the absorption rate to the average sales prices of REOs compared to owner-properties. Getting properties priced properly is nessarsary, and I spend a lot of time sharing data with the consumers to help them place the property on the market to sell.

Keeping consumers in your marketplace educated about today’s buying opportunities.
I have done a lot with the [first-time home buyer] tax credit,pre-quailfication information , determine your house needs , area consideration ,and the lower market values  today is a good time to buy .

Wilmington ,NC area real estate market is picking up.I have a lot of consumers interested and eager sellers to unload their properties.

Housing Bottom
May 12th, 2009 2:46 PM

Housing Bottom Is Near
The bottom of the housing decline is near, predicted analysts and home builders attending the National Association of Home Builders' semiannual Construction Forecast Conference last week.Mark Zandi, chief economist of Moody's Economy.com, facetiously picked a date when home prices would stop falling: Dec. 15, 2009. Other observers weren't so precise, but they did generally agree that the federal government's efforts to shore up the market would take effect by the end of 2009 or early in 2010. Analysts also predicted that consumers will spend less on remodeling. Eric Belsky, executive director at Harvard University's Joint Center for Housing Studies, predicted that spending on remodeling would fall 12.3 percent by the end of this year compared to last. Analysts project that the credit crisis will loosen, although people with blemished credit records may continue to have trouble getting mortgage loans

Renter Insurance
May 2nd, 2009 10:27 AM

Why Buy Renters Insurance?

If you're a renter, you may not think you need insurance at all. (Your landlord already has insurance on the building, right?) But you may not realize that your landlord's policy doesn't cover any of your personal property. What would happen to your belongings if:

  • Your apartment building burned down?
  • A thief broke into your town house?
  • A guest slipped and injured himself in your kitchen?
  • The home you're renting suffered water damage?

Without renters insurance, you've got no coverage for personal property loss or damage. Fortunately, you can get affordable renters insurance (also called apartment insurance) to protect you in situations like these.
